How to add Bambelo as a secure sender email (whitelisting)

If you are no long receiving service request emails (leads), chances are that they are being marked as spam by your email provider. Avoid this from happening by whitelisting our email domain.

What is whitelisting

In order to help ensure proper delivery of e-mails to the inbox of the recipient, certain measures can be made depending on the mail provider the recipient has. These measures are usually called whitelisting and can prevent spam detection software from filtering our e-mails and putting them in quarantine. For more information about what whitelisting is and how it works please refer to the wikipedia page with more information.

What needs to be whitelisted

  • The domain or the e-mail address used to e-mail service requests (leads):
    bambelo.com or noreply@bambelo.com.
  • The domain or the e-mail address used for administrative purposes (invoices, payment links):
    bambelo.com or finance@bambelo.com.

How-to - Hosting Partner / Gsuite / Exchange

It's very common for partners to outsource their hosting and e-mail activities to a hosting partner like MijnDomeinYourhosting or have a company-wide Office365Google Workplace or something similar. In this case the partner should contact their hosting partner or IT manager and let them configure the whitelisting for them. They are probably experienced in configuring this and will know how to do this.

How-to - Gmail

Gmail doesn't have a whitelist or safe sender but internally uses a contact list for trust.
Contacts can easily be added by navigating to https://contacts.google.com/ and clicking 'Create contact'.How-to - Gmail

How-to - Outlook / Live / Hotmail

Outlook, hotmail and live all have the same central mailbox location on https://outlook.live.com and work with a 'safe sender list'. This list supports both e-mail addresses and domain names. You can quickly go to the correct configuration by clicking the following link: https://outlook.live.com/mail/options/mail/junkEmail/safeSenders. There is an excellent article on this by microsoft that you can use to communicate to the partner which explains and handles the entire process step by step: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/block-senders-or-unblock-senders-in-outlook-com-afba1c94-77bb-4f50-8b85-057cf52f4d5e
